Urban MBA has transformed its boardroom into an inspirational space that not only serves as a training ground for students enrolled in their SFEDI-certified courses but also as a sought-after corporate venue. Organisations such as the Black Equity Organisation and Charity Bank have utilised this space for key events, highlighting its versatility and importance in fostering both education and community engagement.
Leading the Way with EdTech
At the heart of Urban MBA’s offerings is their exclusive EdTech hub, a cutting-edge space where students are introduced to the latest advancements in technology. Here, they gain hands-on experience with tools and concepts such as the metaverse, 3D printing, quantum computers, blockchain, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, and more. The hub is particularly significant for Gen Z students, 70% of whom aspire to work in the gaming industry. The space also features a unique “History of Gaming” area, where vintage Atari arcade games sit alongside modern Nintendo consoles, offering a blend of nostalgia and innovation.
The EdTech hub is more than just a learning space; it’s a launchpad for the next generation of tech-savvy entrepreneurs. From stimulating entrepreneurial ideas to providing access to state-of-the-art technology, Urban MBA is positioning its students at the forefront of the digital revolution.
Amplifying Voices with the Urban MBA Podcast Studio
Urban MBA’s fully-equipped podcast studio has become a vibrant part of their community, offering a platform for members to share their stories and ideas. The studio, with its natural lighting and professional-grade equipment, is also available for external corporations to rent. Urban MBA ensures that all recordings are expertly edited, turning them into polished, captivating content.
Supporting Growth with Coworking Spaces
The Urban MBA coworking space is another key resource, providing recent graduates and budding entrepreneurs with affordable access to a professional environment. This space, available for daily or monthly rental, offers more than just a desk—it provides a supportive community where individuals can continue to receive mentoring and guidance as they build their brands.
Celebrating Achievements and Looking Ahead
Urban MBA’s success is celebrated not just within their community but also by the broader Urban MBA family. One of their standout events was the ‘Supacell’ event, where the cast of the popular show joined the Urban MBA team and students for an exclusive screening, followed by a Q&A panel and mingling session.

Pioneering the Future: Quantum Science and Advanced Courses
Looking to the future, Urban MBA is poised to break new ground with their pilot Level 6 course, which has already received top marks in its first evaluation. Buoyed by this success, they are planning to roll out these courses more broadly and are even developing a more advanced Level 9 course.
In partnership with Quantinuum, Urban MBA is set to introduce quantum training programmes that will empower individuals from marginalised communities, providing them with the skills and support needed to succeed in the burgeoning quantum technology sector. By bridging the gap between cutting-edge science and underrepresented talent, Urban MBA is shaping a more inclusive and innovative technological future.
